Just found out about your battle with Cancer, Leontien. There sure are a lot of people sending their love and hugs, and I'd like to add mine. I figure one more on your side has to be a good thing. Readers, if you would like to learn about Leontien, you can check out her blog here. If you would like to add your support in the form of a "leaf" photo, you can use this link or the one at the bottom of this post.
All photos were taken in Vancouver when the sun came out after a rainfall this past Sunday.
This lone and perfect leaf was the only one that landed on the railing. Somehow, it seems a good omen..
Clicking on the photo below or on this link: Leaves for Leontien will take you the site where you can express your support by adding your blog's leaf photo(s).
these are wonderful. :)

ReplyDeleteHello Carol, it is good to meet you and thanks for dropping by my post yesterday.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely post for Leontien! With the beauty of our old hometown of Vancouver, I hope this brings Leontien some cheer and hope.
Jim
I really enjoyed your earlier post, Carol, it is so full of fun! All the more poignant when reminded of how fragile and precious life is in this post about a lovely woman who is sadly battling cancer. I like the creative leaf idea and have added mine to the mix. Thanks as always for sharing your world and your thoughts!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures and a wonderful tribute to Leontien.
ReplyDeleteimages in posts between aug 14 and sep 14 are missing -- is it me -- or did the images get moved???
ReplyDeleteOh no!!!!! Thanks for letting me know, Peter! Starting August 14, my google storage plan was used up so I began posting the pictures in my facebook account and then using the html code to put them in the blog. I don't know if it would be facebook or blogger that is now deleting the pictures, but they are still in my facebook account, although most are set for my viewing only. On November 11th, my old plan with google will be in action again, so I have less than a month before I can go back to my old way of loading pictures. Not sure what to do until then. I'm in the middle of a preparing a post now. Again, my thanks for letting me know. At some point, I will go back and fix those older posts, but I haven't the heart to do that now.
ReplyDeletebeautiful... so wonderful to see such kindness flowing.
ReplyDeleteThose are really great pictures.
