Every Inchie Monday (on Saturday): "Stone"

I completed two inchies to represent the theme of "stone" although mine seem to be closer to "rock" images.  I used two on-line tutorials to help me out.

This one is supposed to represent a waterfall over rocks. I used this site for ideas.
In this next one, Drawing Stack tried his very best to help me out.
To see some of the ways that others depicted a "stone" image in just one square inch of space, I think you will find it interesting to stop by Every Inchie Monday.  Thanks for taking time to stop by my blog!

  6. We love the idea of the water tumbling over the stone, and can almost hear the sound as it does so. Great inchies.

  7. I think they're both brilliant. But like I've said on the Flickr group, I think the 'mountain' one is more stone than the waterfall one.

They're both great pictures though and I'd be pleased to have done so well with either of them!

  9. Wow! Awesome pics in this post. Really hard to choose favorite, but I do love the very first pic - that sky and the bare naked tree silhouette and the building all seem to tell a story.
