I am going to post the photos from our walk and bike ride yesterday almost sans commentary. This second post of the day is a catch-up one. More than half the photos have a fence of one kind or another, though you may have to look fairly carefully to spot some of them. For lots more fences, don't forget to stop by the amazing TexWisGirl's "Good Fences" meme. You would never believe the variety of fences that she finds around her, and how that has inspired her many readers to come up with uniquely fascinating fences of their own.
Cormorants in David Lam Park |
Note the cormorant behind the three lined-up ones. Landing on this sculpture seems to be a passage of right and younger ones have to work their way up to the more comfortable spots.

The sun had suddenly burst through the rain showers and lit up this tree and Bill's face. The format seems to have gone a little bit wonky, but the rest of the photos were taken in a park along the Canada Way bike route where we stopped to let Black Jack have a little run. The grass was wet but Bill gamely played with her. We have learned that the trick on rainy days is to "just do it" - just dress warmly and go out. Once we're out, we have a great time. Perhaps not a surprise to many of you :) Many thanks to Theresa for her Good Fences meme and to you for stopping by. See you tomorrow!
