I somehow had been absolutely certain that the theme was "eclectic." Where I found that idea, I cannot say, but I include my attempt at representing "eclectic" because it took a much greater effort than did my star. Of the little challenges I have set for myself in life, I think this is the one that most brings a feeling of humility. I'm still not sure that I have followed all of the requirements, so if anyone would like to correct me or offer suggestions, I will be most appreciative. One of the challenges is finding a way to photograph the inchie so that the colours used are "true." I definitely did not master that this week. I won't "translate" the different elements in my "eclectic" theme except to say that eight little pictures represented six thoughts about an eclectic lifestyle. If you can figure them out from my drawings, I do think you deserve an award of your own :)
Thanks so much for reading this. If you would like to see what other people did for the "star" theme, don't forget to check out the Every Inchie Monday blog meme.
Welcome to the world of inchies! I don't think you need to worry too much about following any rules. Other than making it fit into an inch square there's aren't any. (And you'll notice as the weeks progress that we don't all do that every time!)
ReplyDeleteI like your star - AND eclectic - and I look forward to seeing more of your works.
Nice, but unfortunately nothing for me too difficult :) !
ReplyDeleteI see eclectic in your star “inchie”, Carol, when you painted rainbow hues in its borders and added a background that looks like bamboo shoots or some other stems. Earth and sky is the theme from my perspective. Also like the stripes going in different directions. :)
ReplyDeletei cannot imagine creating something so tiny. :)
ReplyDeleteLoving the inchie! See you next week! ;)
ReplyDeleteMorningAJ is correct. You don't have to worry about rules.
